LONDON
Full Tilt at the Electric Ballroom of a Friday night in Camden
is something of a London institution. Attracting a broad alternative
crowd with a wide selection of alternative sounds, including Goth
and industrial tunes. Purists may turn their noses up, but for mixing,
dancing and drinking in a relaxed but raucous atmosphere, it's difficult
to beat. Check out their site for history, pics and more.

London's hippest Goth club where Industrial aficionados, cybergoths,
and kindred creatures of the night strut, preen and boogie until the
sun drives them back to their day jobs. A great alternative if Full
Tilt's not full on enough for you, though the Camden club's got a
less precious atmosphere than Slimelight. Decide for yourself every
Saturday in Islington - better still go to both if you've got the
stamina - full details on their site at.

Arguably the best fetish club in England and thus, champions of the
London scene maintain, the world. As eye-wateringly extreme as a semi-public
club can get, and catering to a more counterculture and hip underground
clientele, it's been the subject of coffee-table books and inspired
compilation albums. Each month the Torture Garden tries to find a
new venue and fresh theme to titillate jaded palates. Check out their
site for the latest.

Our favourite guide to fiendish fun in the Big Smoke at the moment
is Incy Wincy Spider's guide to Gothic London. Thorough, well laid-out
and fun, even dark denizens of the Capital should find a few things
about this most Gothic of cities from Master Spider, and its perfect
for Gothic visitors finding their feet in what isn't always the world's
friendliest metropolis. Give it a spin at:
