The Beach of Troubles

The joyful waves of the sea wash away your sadness.
The calm sound of Seagulls above make you forget.
The cool breeze against your bare skin soothes you.
You close your eyes and lay back on the gentle sand.
With the sun’s warmth on top and your anger underneath,
You begin to forget your troubles.
When you leave, you also leave your troubles behind.
The calming beach is what holds the past.
