I’M NOT YOUR ANGEL

Can’t you not see I have no halo,
Nor do I have wings.
I only guide your path, not lay it out.
When in trouble, I’ll be there.
I’m not your angel just because I care,
Nor am I as I’m always there.
A shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen.
I’m not your angel when my advice is right,
Nor am I because we never fight.
I’ll stick up for you, do anything you ask of me.
But remember, I’m not your angel.
I’m just a friend.
