Enstranged visions
tangled in sleeps web
forsaking boundries
given to wildly roam
drunken with freedom
A desire, a wont
a longing now lost
having slipped away
easily as the night
in the arms of dream.
Feint echoes linger
as the monster sleeps
deep within dark self
awaiting the night
dreams to take flight
to taste such freedom, again.
