Words tumbling forth
falling beyond speech
plummeting to the ground
clattering about uselessly
No longer with meaning
now serving no purpose
their clutter escaping
spewed out breathlessly
Reaching out to nothing
finding nothing, falling away
now freed of their clamour
then suddenly so empty
With no words left me,
nothing more to say
drowning in rising silence
letting go, finally dying away.
