I have to face the truth, step out of my shell,
It's too dark in there,
The blindness I need to lose,
Open my eyes to this world I used to know so well.

Life’s full of questions, why me? Is it really worth it?
This life I'm going to live and soon the answers I'll be with,
Any obstacles that are ahead of me are just another path in life's story I'll finish,

I close my ears to hate's curse, then to my own heart I can listen,
I walk away from the dark,
My heart can make it's own light, Just so it can fit in,
If the light it shines helps others find their way home,
My light's invitation becomes an open party,
The light's company leaves the dark all alone.
But when the dark returns & there’s no light lit,
Keep on going because to breath means to never quit!

A young boy hasn't yet lived, looks up to authority, the old man he's been around,
He needs to close his eyes when he's done,
When his head lowers again, it seems such a long way back down,
He so wants to be like the old man, imagining what it would be like,
But soon that boy will be lost,
life will take you to where you wanna be,
Youth is just a curse you haven't yet grown out of,
If tomorrow doesn't go right, it begins to eat at you bit by bit,
Don't ever give up because to breath means to never quit!

You still have tomorrow to live,
And if yesterday stains your past on the way to your destiny you'll soon be with,
Don't regret it,
Because to breathe means to never quit!

I need to face my own destiny,
Without tempting fait,
Giving into temptation is easy,
Giving up without trying is a mistake.
Pick up the pieces when life feels like shit,
