My Ladies and My Lords
We gather here with one another
To speak the truths of our hearts
We come from different lands
Different pasts
Different voices and ears
And we find ourselves here among these confines
To share through our words the burdens
The imaginations and expressions of our minds
And our hearts
To find within this small clan of beings
Maybe a kindred spirit
A fellow solomn soul
To understand that we are not alone
So remember my sisters and brothers
That we are all just lost souls
Trying to find others just as us
Be kind to others that come before you
Have patience with all
Remember those that have touched your heart
